RV’ers are generally friendly, outgoing people! They seem to be exceptionally friendly when you’re either pulling in or hooking up to leave a site :-). These unintentional distractions can cause you to lose your train of thought and possibly misplace small items (like pins and clips) on a bumper or other area where it can fall off while driving. Also, things do break, and it’s good to be prepared with these inexpensive items to ensure you’re towing safely.
Pro Tip: Want to take it a step further? Add cable lanyards to your pin’s, and you’ll “never” remove pins from where they should be.
