You don’t want to set off on a road trip in your RV without making sure that you have a secure source of electricity as well as adapters and power cords. If you pull up to a campground and want to hook up to their electricity, you may discover that your RV runs on a different outlet. Make sure you always carry an RV power adapter, specifically one that works with both 30 amp and 50 amp. A male to female extension amp, an RV adapter plug, and a few replacement plugs are also handy things to have.
Pro Tip: In addition to your primary power connections, have a failsafe adaptor. I’m always able to connect directly to any 15 Amp (standard home plug-in) with my 50 Amp RV using this. Just in case the power post isn’t working at the campground or and unexpected stop along the way. They also come in 30 Amp as well.
